The method of performing a Sajda for thanking Allah is the same as for
Sajda-e-Tilaawat.
It is Mustahhab to perform the Sajda-e-Shukr if a child is born, or you
have gained wealth, or you have found a lost item, or your illness has gone
better, or you have returned from a journey safely or you have obtained a gift.
