Golden Page of Human History (Prophet of Islam)

Prophet of Islam (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) occupies an exalted,
everlasting and the most unique position in the religious history of
mankind. Of all the Founders of Religion only Prophet of Islam (sallal
laahu alaihi wasallam) is the first and the last to claim that the Message
which he brought from Allah Ta'ala to mankind is absolutely complete and
final, that his dispensation shall remain in force till the end of the
world, and after him no Divine Messenger will come to modify, add, subtract
or abrogate any of his teachings. In him, the institution of Prophethood
attained its full, final and most perfect form.

Esale sawab: Raise the spiritual status of the deceased.

To put simply, Esal e Sawab is nothing other than to ask Allah for the forgiveness of our sins, and to raise the spiritual status of the deceased.

This may be achieved through various practices, such as the offering of du’as [supplications], to recite the Qur’an, to offer Qurbani [at Eid al Adha], and also, to perform a compulsory Hajj [fard] on the behalf of the deceased.

Raf ul yadain : A detail study of how raf'ul'yadain is obsolete

Raf al yadain simply means to raise the hands during prayer.

When people begin their Salaah, they raise their hands to signify that they have left all things and submitted themselves towards Allah alone. This also signifies the individuals’ testimony of Allah’s Unity.

The Hanafis, [as members of the Ahl as Sunna wa’al Jamma] believe that this act (raising hands to the level of the ears) should only be undertaken at the start of the prayer and not during it.

Taqleed: In reality, everyone does Taqleed in one way another.

Taqleed can be defined as the acceptance of a Mujtahid’s‘ statements
(Fatwa, without knowing his references (evidences)).
[Tazeeb, by Imam-Nawai and Irshaad-ul-Fahool by Qadhi Shawkani].

There is a consensus amongst the majority of Muslims that we should follow
the four major Imams in matters of Shari’ah. Such as:

· Those matters in which there is no direct, single and clear meaning in
sources of Shari’ah.

· When there exists a difference of opinion between the Sahabah upon an
issue, the Imams have tried to show the similarities in them.

Can men wear earrings ?

Men’s getting their ears pierced and wearing earrings is totally impermissible. Wearing earrings makes one similar to women in appearance. There is a Hadith:

Translation: It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat ‘Abdullah bin ‘Abbas (May Allah be well pleased with them), he says that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) has cursed those men who try to resemble women and on those women who try to resemble men. (Sahih Bukhari, Hadith No. 5546).

Our Daughters are a Blessings, Not a burden

Children are no doubt a great gift from Almighty Allah to all parents. Parents must think of their children as such treasures that the all the wealth and material resources are worthless as when compared to one's children. We, as parents, should thank and be grateful to Almighty Allah for blessing us with children whether they are boys or girls.
